Origins
I grew up in Abruzzo, Italy, surrounded by nature and already drawn to technology. In high school, I studied computer science and started building websites for fun. It was the Webmaster Era, when one person designed, coded, and shipped the whole product.
Work Journey
I started at @MacaroniBros during the Web Designer Era as a Front-End Developer. While building interfaces in code, I found myself naturally pulled toward the visual and aesthetic side of things. My role evolved from simply implementing interfaces to shaping how they looked and felt.
From there, Front-End Development and UI/UX Design became tightly connected, merging code and visual decisions into a single discipline.
In the UX/UI Product Design Era, I joined @Gunpowder (later acquired by @Seidor) as a Founding Designer and eventually became Lead Designer. I worked end to end, from strategy to implementation, while building standards, accessibility practices, and scalable delivery systems for the team.
Today
Today I work as a freelance Product Designer and UX/UI Design Engineer. We are now in the Builder Era. It feels like a return to where I started, but more powerful: the same end-to-end ownership, with faster iteration enabled by AI and far less friction between thinking and making. I handle complexity behind the scenes, so the final product feels simple, fast, and clear. The goal is to turn ambiguity into real, working products, faster, with less overhead, and with a stronger focus on what truly matters for users.
